"Always historically an ideal stopover for the weary traveller - New owners have invested over time."

The room was comfortable and ideal for our purposes of inbetween travel days from Zimbabwe. Staff very friendly - dinner was nicely done, and bed and shower comfortable.

The electrics in the room with regards to the operation of the fridge, kettle and microwave were something to be desired as the various wires and extension cords were a) not working b) and a tangled mess hanging out of box on the wall. A multi adapter on the wall would be safer and more efficient than trying to plug various appliances into an extension cord that didn't deliver power to the appliances as it was obviously knackered with use over time with people plugging and unplugging the appliances.
