The rooms were lovely. Decor was excellent and a very homely feel Food in the pub for dinner was lovely

We booked 3 rooms but one didn't have any toiletries. There was no one around in the morning to hand the keys to. We weren't offered breakfast

We stayed for one night and will certainly return in the future. The staff and service were exemplary,truly setting a standard that many hotels could aspire to. Our room comfortably accommodated four guests and was clean, well lit, and tastefully presented. The hotel is situated in a quiet location with a charming view of sheep in the surrounding area, which added to the overall appeal. The food was excellent, with reasonable pricing. Additionally, there is a small playground for children. We have no complaints and look forward to our next visit. Thank you.

Our evening meal was amazing. One of our group - a vegetarian - ordered a meal that turned out to contain parmesan, which was not mentioned on the menu. When this was pointed out to the waiter, he immediately took the dish away, told the chef, and a new dish was served almost immediately- beautifully cooked. In addition, there was no charge for this particular meal- excellent service! Breakfast was to be ordered the previous night - no problem, but when we went to pay, there was only one lady working there, and she had no idea what to charge us. After she made 3 unsuccessful calls, my husband offered £30.00 for 5 toast and coffee/tea, she reluctantly accepted.

We would have appreciated hair dryers in the bedrooms. The standard of the bedrooms otherwise were amazing- the shower compartment in room 4 giving an unforgetable experience!

Service was excellent and it was really nicely done up.

One of the beds was very uncomfortable as you could feel the springs in the mattress.

Picturesque location, superb beer/food garden, nice and clean with comfy beds.

Not a criticism as we were aware when we booked that the accommodation consisted of a double bed room and a two single beds room, we were two dads and two sons so sleeping arrangement was a bit unusual. As I said, not a criticism.
