Great food, friendly staff, lovely village

Clean , staff very helpful , the most amazing surroundings reminded me of rural Somerset in the 70’s. The perfect stay over for the south west to Scotland visitor. Oh and the food is banging

Set in a pretty village, ideal for walking my dogs. Lovely comfortable room, excellent dinner and breakfast in the pub below. Staff friendly and helpful.

Nice renovated pub in a small village. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Once in the shower was excellent.

The room was very small and there was nothing to hang any clothing. I had no bedside table which was very difficult and the bathroom was very tight to get into and out of because of the bed being close to a radiator. I’m not sure the cost reflected the size of the facilities.

Second visit. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Large room, very comfortable beds, spacious en suite. Great atmosphere in bar and excellent food. Very dog friendly. A great stopover on our way to Scotland

Pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a pub with great accommodations and really nice to see the locals using it as an eatery, which proves how well the place is presented especially with the breakfast and with quality food via the restaurant at night and would definitely stop there again

Lovely pub in a lovely village. Evening meal was superb. Room very clean and well equipped.

It was a huge bedroom (Room 4) so it could have easily coped with a larger king size bed. That would have made it perfect. A 6ft 3 husband in a 4’6” bed was cosy!!!
