Location and size of room was perfect

The wifi was appalling, needed to work while there and couldnt get online, in 2026 this shouldnt happen, went to The Royal for dinner, perfect wifi

The location was excellent & the accommodation spacious, clean & comfortable. Providing Continental Breakfast products in the room gave greater freedom timewise & allowed us to make the most of your stay.

Extra parking would have been good but we always managed to slot in

It is always clean and having your little fridge in the room is good

7.50 for a bottle of beer at the sister pub royal oak it was on draft and £2. CHeaper.

"The stay was lovely"

Great location Beautiful clean room with good facilities

We booked a table in the restaurant for 7.30 giving us ample time to enjoy a meal, however, we felt the staff working that evening were in a rush to finish their shift early and we felt hurried to get through our meal.

"would 100% return great stay"

qmqzing room which was huge and really well decorated. great location and not noisy at all. the self check in was great and having the continental breakfast in the fridge in the room was a great idea

the Staff were lukewarm on arrival which was a shame and were visibly put out we didn't know where the room was located, despite not staying there before

Really nice spacious room is a cute village/town. Breakfast included cereals, lots of milk and some fruit/yogurt. Very happy

Room is quite dark, but not a problem.

"Lovely stay, perfect for what we needed and exceeded expectations."

Lovely little village pub, the rooms exceeded our exceptions, they were much bigger than I expected and really comfortable. Ideal for a family, or a small group. Perfect options for a quick breakfast provided in the room, with tea and coffee making facilities. Had dinner in the pub downstairs, which was also very good. Would recommend booking dinner though as the bar was busy. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back if we ever found ourselves in that part of the country again.
