Lovely apartment, great pool and helpful staff.

This was my husband’s first trip to Hawaii, so I wanted a relaxing, romantic getaway in an oceanfront condo. Luckily, I found Whaler’s Cove! As soon as we arrived Marianne, and the rest of the staff, made us feel like family recommending local sites and snorkeling cruises. The condo was spacious and clean, with a full-size kitchen, washing machine and dryer. Our back slider opened to a lawn with remarkable sunset and sunrise views. The beds were comfortable and the sound of waves crashing outside our door was spectacular. It is in a perfect location close to: Poipu Beach where large sea turtles beach nightly; a variety of restaurants and shops less than a 10-minute easy, safe walk away; and close to snorkeling. Thank you, Marianne we will be back, A Hui Hou!! (OK, I had to look that up, “Until we meet again!)

We loved the quiet location and the lovely view. We wished we were traveling with friends or family so we could have shared it!

The coffee maker could be replaced: no automatic shut off, and the heating pate is not quite in top shape

Our 10-day stay at Whaler's Cove -- Room 124 -- was rejuvenating in every way. Our condo looked out to a panorama of the ocean through tall palm trees --- with sunrises to the far left, sunsets to the far right...and an astronomical canopy of constellations at night. Nicely furnished with great artwork, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living room, furnished kitchen -- there was all you need indooors. The gated spa and pool were well maintained and inviting. With numerous restaurants nearby -- and a friendly, responsive team managing Whaler's Cove -- you won't find better accommodations in Kauai.

My wife and I wanted a “staycation” away from home to rest, relax, explore, and appreciate. Marianne, the GM of the resort, and our gracious host reached out to us prior to the visit and during the stay. The front office associate checked us in, gave us directions to the room (133), pool, and other features of the resort. Every employee exuded Aloha. The room opens to a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean. The swaying palm trees, the gentle surf sounds, a calming sensation occurs. The pool is a major feature of the resort. There is a jacuzzi as an added feature. We decided that this was going to be our “happy place” during the stay. The pool water temperature was divine! A short walk, there is a shopping center with stores and restaurants, We visited Merriman’s for dinner. The entire stay was impressive. We had a chance to enjoy a beautiful room with island style features, and a spectacular pool. I would highly recommend Whaler’s Cove and room 133 for the perfect experience.

We loved our stay! Rooms were right on the ocean. You could keep screen doors and windows open and hear the waves day and night! Stunning views!

We had a great experience at Whaler's Cove! The space (#212) was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 kids), and had everything we needed. We were comfortable and loved the view! The location was so great as well - close to good food, shopping, and easy for day trips around the island.
