Big Red Lodge Cottage

I liked the outdoor fire pit and seating area. The bed was comfortable. Great location and free parking. Host was very friendly and provided free entrance to an attraction.

I didn't like the lack of AC and the bathroom/kitchenette area across the room which were more like outhouses.

Way more interesting than staying at a hotel! The host was gracious and the cats were cute! It was clean and just as I expected. It was nice to have all the outdoor patio space.

This is glamping, not a villa. We were bewildered by all the good reviews and what we walked into. What a place....but obviously, some people love it. To be fair, there must be a reason, we just couldn't figure it out.

Well, this is not a villa. This is a shed in the back yard, complete with a metal roof, no running water, and the toilet facilities are across the patio, as was the so-called kitchen. When it was 40 degrees outside, we were expected to tiptoe across the patio to go potty, brush our teeth, etc. We refused to stay there for the night, and they still kept the first nights money. Do not rent this place without seeing it first. You may be one of those that love it. We were not.

Super friendly hosts, and a cute granny flat with a lot of privacy. Very quiet, and with a nice gas fire pit. The bathroom and kitchenette are detached and small , but I found them charming.

Angela was incredibly welcoming and generous, providing all kinds of ideas for places to visit and even giving me a ride to the grocery store the eve I arrived! Mattress was impressively comfortable--exactly soft enough while still supportive.The patio was a beautiful, peaceful, private place to prepare and enjoy breakfast each morning and to unwind by the fire each night. Angela even provides a treasure chest of blankets to stay cozy! Patio time was my favorite part of my stay 😊

Very, very minor--shower head angled so you can't quite stand directly underneath it

The host was nice. The bed was super comfy and the blankets/pillows were heavenly.
