Quiet and excellent for a walk

A bit far from a grocery shop but fine if you have a car.

Lots of parking, fabulous courtyard space, good sized cottage, very peaceful & quiet. The host was friendly & very helpful & quick to reply. Tea, coffee & milk sachets & a few individual biscuits were all very much appreciated. Good shower, nice decor & easy to use TV (watched a film but couldn’t find terrestrial channels - no biggie for 1 night). We’d definitely come again but don’t forget your eye masks!

One big issue - light blue thin curtains in the bedroom - 4am was as bright as midday. Any attempt at thicker/darker curtains or a blackout blind would’ve been helpful. Take eye masks, you’ll need them. The sofas were on the hard side but didn’t spoil our evening.

The location was perfect for Bempton Cliffs. Well equipped property.

The bed I slept in was a little harder than I like, but thats my personal choice. The shower was very slow & poor water flow.

Lovely living/dining/kitchen area. Well stocked with crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans etc. Attractive bedrooms with good storage. Lovely and warm when we got the hang of operating the heating controls. The outdoor seating areas were beautiful. (Pity about the cold weather!) Delightful evening lighting outside.

Lack of an information folder. Poor quality linen on the beds, which weren't all that comfortable. Pillows poor.

Lovely cottage, very comfortable!

A hairdryer would have been useful.
