"Pleasant if somewhat basic stay!"

Basic but clean, and comfortable. Very large room with balcony, good location and very helpful staff (they have photocopy and printing facilities free of charge, life savers)

It is a little loud, as it is near the railway and marine drive - it didn’t bother us but if you are averse to loud places - - avoid. Also if the sheets fit the bed it would be better.

Loved the spacious airy rooms that looked out over the sea..very light and unpretentious .An older building that has masses of character ...Close to shops etc, with a really nice little coffee shop/ restaurant across the road. The small fridge in the room was also very helpful. Staff were great. A great choice for an easy stay in Colombo ...this will definitely be my 'go to '...🙏

There's a bit of road noise, and the occasional train, but the spaciousness of the room seems to balance that out.

"Old building with damp walls"

The location was good

The walls were damp. The room wasn't clean enough. The window didn't open. So, booking this hotel for the sea view is not worth it. The bed was uncomfortable.
