Truly, the few things I did not like about this property were mostly personal preference. There is absolutely ZERO airflow in this place, like.. none at all and not a fan to be found, anywhere. When I checked in it was quite warm, and I do appreciate that the hosts were very responsive and decreased the temperature right away for me. I do not like that I have to rely on others to adjust the temperature in my living quarters. Despite this, I did end up going out and getting my own fan. In the bedroom, the bed covered the only vent in the room which I thought was silly, so I scooted the bed away from the wall so at least the vent was not blocked by the bed! When I did this, the pillows fell backwards through the gap created by moving the bed away from the wall, so that did kind of stink. The place overall was pretty clean, but when I stripped the sheets, the mattress cover was heavily stained in what looked to be sweat(?) and some other substance and I was truly appalled to be sleeping on that. The bed was alright, not very comfortable so I did have a mattress pad I utilized during my stay (I am a travel nurse, so I had most of this stuff already). It does get a little creepy at night so I wish there had been a TV in the bedroom, but I just utilized my laptop. I think there is definitely some room for improvement here, but the hosts were kind and it worked for what I needed it to. I won’t be back to IU Health or the state of Indiana anytime soon, so I will not be back.

When we arrived at Trestle Creek Farm, the rose bushes out front reminded us of our parents' homes. The inside was exactly as pictured. It was immaculate and very comfortable. This was such a pleasant experience! I highly recommend Trestle Creek Farm. Our hostess quickly answered any questions we had. It was obvious how much care she gave to making our stay such a wonderful experience.

It was a great location for Bloomington and being close to Nashville, IN. It was modern and cheery!

Loved the homely and comfortable feel, this would be the PERFECT place to stay especially if you plan on staying for a few days. Great kitchen and bathroom/laundry facilities.

The living room's heat didn't work, so it was a little cold. Maybe I couldn't figure it out but I was fine with the nice warm blankets they provide in the closest. Be sure to bring groceries/beverages for your stay, there aren't many shopping options nearby. It's a farmhouse after all!
