Cannot criticise anything - just a suggestion; less decorations on the bedside tables and coffee station, to allow more space for personal items.

We stayed at Blue Shutter House in Haenertsburg and absolutely loved it. The rooms are so nicely decorated, warm and cosy, and everything has been thought through so well. There’s a lovely room where you can all sit together with friends, such a comfortable and inviting space. The outdoor area is special, especially in warmer weather. The boma and BBQ area are perfectly set up and it has everything you need. The whole place feels very cared for, comfortable and fully equipped without feeling overdone. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel at home. We’ll definitely be back.

The location is near all amenities. The room decor is exceptional and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful. Will definitely visit again, trying another room. Will recommend it to everyone.

LOCATION IS BEAUTIFUL. LOVE THE ROOM. IT IS WELL THOUGHT OUT. EVERYTHING YOU NEED. BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED. CHARMAINE VERY WELCOMING. WE HAD THE BEST RAINY WEATHER. BONUS... THE ROOM HAS A TIN ROOF SO THE SOUNDS ARE AMAZING. THANK YOU WE LOVED TO STAY IN YOURE BEAUTIFUL PLACE.

IF YOU ARE A PRIVATE PERSON THAT MAY BE THE ONLY ISSUE. A LOT OF PEOPLE WALKING PAST YOURE ROOM, BUT WE JUST KEPT THE CURTAINS CLOSED. THATS REALLY THE ONLY DOWNSIDE.

"Absolutely wondeful"

We were met by the host and warmly welcomed. The additional facilities offered to guests were out of this world - beautiful swimming pool, super smart additional facilities for one to cook or braai a meal. The fire-pit was stunning. Great pity were were only in transit - because we would have loved to stay for a very very long time !!!
