Excellent experience, views, staff, ambiance and incredible comfortable rooms. We got an upgrade to a room with balcony to ocean view. Best accommodations and close to all the amenities in downtown Laguna Beach.

"Perfect weekend getaway"

Location is stunning and perfect for beach access and for walking around. The renovation turned out beautiful and decor is charming and warm. Hotel is clean and staff was great. Couldn’t ask for more.

Nothing at all. If you want anything more as some of the negative reviews suggests, you simply have to pay more for stars. Don’t be swayed by the low reviews. We’ve stayed at a lot of luxury hotels and this one is great for the budget for the perfect quick Laguna Beach weekend getaway.

"It was a great getaway spot for us, and we would definitely stay again."

Our room was just right-- spacious, very comfortable, nice view of the ocean. And sharp decor. And the hotel is in a perfect spot to walk just about everywhere. We only took the car out once, and we stayed for 5 nights.

The menu at the lounge restaurant was super expensive. If it were competitive with the great restaurant just down the road, we would have definitely eaten there.

The location.

Very small bedroom. Loud air conditioning unit. TV didn’t work. Some staff weren’t very friendly. Overpriced compared to other places we’ve stayed.
