The area is great for walking and cycling

Advert said 'on-site parking available'. A lie, it's actually on street parking for 2 hours then go find a space No TV working and no heating working. Spoke to owner 'never had an issue with TV before, unplug WiFi bridge and try again. Worked for a while had to keep resetting. Hive heating system needed new battery's in controller. Bought some battery's. Still no heating. Heating being controlled by landlord. Again things not right expected to chase landlord to put heating on. We had wet towels and no where to dry them. The heated towel rails we used to aire them on were thick with dust. Towels smothered with dust and fluff. Dont expect to this much for a mucky apartment that needs maintenance where you can't even keep warm and dry the towels. Won't be going back. Matlock great for outdoor activities but a bit rundown.

"Great value apartment with beautiful views of the countryside"

The apartment is in a great central location in Matlock with beautiful views. The hosts were very responsive whenever we did have questions and the apartment is well equipped with most things you might need. There was lots of parking available and the hosts were happy to accommodate our baby (the apartment layout is really helpful as could keep our baby in the back bedroom and hangout in the lounge / mezzanine bedroom without disturbing him). Thanks for a lovely stay!

Living room blind was broken but hosts weren’t aware so hopefully can sort now they know about the issue. This meant the mezzanine bedroom was very bright in the mornings as we couldn’t block out the light from the room below. Some issues with cleanliness: we had to run the hoover round on the first morning, shower needed a deep clean, quite a few cobwebs. No toiletries in shower.
