Perfect location, very friendly owner.

Very helpful host, apartment was clean and spacious,comfortable bed, close to the train station and walking distance to the centre of Catania. Loved the pastries that were left on our door knob each morning. Thanks Peppe for an enjoyable stay.

The apartment is on 2nd floor so a lot of stairs to climb with luggage.

Very clean, well equipped and super location. Good value for money! Friendly staff. They provided us the breakfast super early!! Highly recommended!

Perfect location for anybody who needs to use bus/train stations early/late or frequently - 2 minutes from the train station on foot, some 4-5 from the bus station. A very cooperative, helpful and other 'very' host Pepe who left us fresh croissants early in the morning (completely unexpected) and helped with other things. From the very moment you enter the apartment, you understand it's perfectly suited for traveler's needs and is managed by people who are professional in what they are doing. All processes seamless, a shop, Indian restaurant and tabacchi in the same building or over the street open late. Highly recommended for short stays. Thank you Pepe for positive vibes.

Many people have pointed out sketchy neighborhood. It does not look bright (but many parts of Catania sadly look the same or even worse) - there's no more problem than just bad looks and garbage. We didn't feel in danger from people - the greatest danger is the flow of cars and some of the drivers not wanting to stop on the zebra crossing. Pepe has taken care also for people who cannot bear the sound from the busy street (free ear-plugs) - we didn't find it to be much of a problem though.

The location is directly across from the train station, although not noisy, and an easy walk to most attractions and a huge range of excellent eateries and supermarkets. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped if you want to eat in. The room we stayed in was large with high vaulted ceiling which made it feel even more spacious. When we contacted our host about a need for an additional blanket for our bed they responded immediately. This made sure we had a lovely cosy night in a great bed. Our host delivered fresh pastries daily, which we found extremely generous.

The heating in the middle of winter needs to be run for a little while before the bedroom heats up. This is due to the size of the enormous bedroom. Please understand this is not a complaint but an observation.

Its a very big room, complete amenities and clean. Special thanks to the fresh cornetti in the morning, very thoughtful of the owner😉
