Alley Garden Homestay Hoi An

Great location, very friendly & helpful family running the home stay. Also served the best pancakes we’ve ever had & it was included in the price :D

Aircon leaked a bit but wasn’t too much of a problem :)

Staff were incredibly accommodating and prepared. Communication lines were good. Assisted when we had a last minute problem.

Lovely staff, they want to be very helpful. Our bed was comfortable & the shower had amazing water pressure + steamy hot!!! There are free bikes to use (although some of them could use a little bit of repair on the breaks). We especially loved the fried egg for breakfast, very tasty.

We were unfortunate to sleep next to a bunch of very loud chickens (who have no sense of time either). So bring earplugs. The aircon seemed a bit moldy and the bathroom could use a better ventilator.

The location was very good and close to the city center. The pool looked nice, but I didn‘t use it because it was raining. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The bathroom smelled a bit and had a hole in the wall where cockroaches came through. The bed was quite hard.

Lovely staff, very friendly and happy to help you. Free to use bikes to get around Hoi An. Nicely located in a quiet street, 15-20min walk to Old town with restaurants and bars. Laundry good price per kilo. Nice pool and outdoor space to relax in outside of the bedroom. Bedrooms big and roomy. Good breakfast selection with complimentary tea, coffee and water!

Slight musty smell in the bathroom but did not spread into bedroom.

Amazing place to stay! Super friendly family, amazing food and comfortable rooms! Everything is clean, the pool is perfect temperature and the vibe unbeatable!

Nice pool although it was too cold to use it. The included breakfast is a nice touch although it's very small. The room was spacious, and the cafe/outside area is very nice to hang out at. It's a generally quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town but close enough to take a 10 minute walk to the centre.

Unfortunately the bathroom doesn't have a vent and therefore the humidity after showering stayed in the room. We tried leaving all the windows and the door open but it didn't help. Our clothes were damp for three days and started smelling. The matress was very hard. Also, a rooster and some chicken live right outside the window of the ground floor room which means you'll be woken up at 5am. I could imagine the rooms on the top floor to be more airy and quieter.
