"Must stay if you want to come to “Sapa” but actually experience local culture and amazing scenery!"

Ms Co was the best host! I arrived at 2am and she was there to greet me after speaking to my taxi driver who needed directions. I stayed one night in her home and another in her new accommodation, both were incredible in different ways. The experience of Hmong living in her home to the luxury of the new room with the best view!

One of the kindest souls you will meet, Co will invite you into her home and make you feel so welcome while you eat some of the best local food available to foreigners. She truly makes the experience one of a kind, and I couldn’t imagine coming to Sapa and not staying with her. A beautiful place paired with a lovely human is not something you want to miss.

Delicious breakfast and dinner, which included unique local ingredients. Co was always helpful and eager to share about her culture with us. Would recommend to anybody looking for a slow-paced stay in the rice terraces!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Big Tree Homestay. I stayed there for 3 nights and our host, Ms. Co, was amazing at helping me find the textile workshops I was interested in. I had the chance to try indigo dying and traditional embroidery at my own pace. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!
