The Big One Blackpool

This was the second time my son and his dad have stayed here and its exactly as advertised. Bright, clean, airy, spacious and really close to the pleasure beach, everything you need and sensibly priced.

Lovely staff, clean, well furnished and equipped for a short stay. Nicely decorated property. The hosts were very attentive, thoughtful and helpful.

Shower was either freezing cold or too hot. Maybe the thermostat was broken at the time.

Location

Unsteady and uncomfortable bed,No working batteries in clock in kitchen or remote controls for tvs, No house keeping or fresh towels. Picture hanging off wall in bedroom. Cobwebs hanging from ceilings and light fixtures and spiders happily living there. Pink bacteria on shower door crevices. Toilet difficult to flush then trickles for a bit till full again. Kitchen tap constantly dripping. Very thin walls. Hall stank of cigarette smoke from other guests smoking at front door entrance. Not once were we greeted by our hosts. Would not recommend, more like faulty towers

It was really home away from home. Home was clean, comfortable and had everything you would want for a home.

I have no complaints about my stay. it was definitely excellent value for money. It was clean the staff/owners were fantastic. The location was out of town but that was my choice to stay there. The sofa wasn't particularly comfortable but for the price it was exceptional. I feel bad for not giving smiley face for everything. Literally no complaints about them. The apartment is small but it's perfectly functional, far better and cheaper than a hotel stay with the added bonuses of a functional kitchen including washing machine, fridge, oven, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster you don't get that in hotels

The sofa wasn't comfortable but for the price I am not complaining
