Inner City Picton Apartment!

Central to Picton facilities, comfy - like being in your own home. Had washing machine & clothesline.

My room was far too light, kept thinking I had to turn the light off, but it was the skylight, let far too much light in for a bedroom where you want to sleep. They need to be able to cover the skylight so you can sleep restfully.

Very close to the Picton port.

Noisy during the day because of commercial offices next door. Disappointed that there was no provision for even a cup of tea or coffee as all the shelves were bare.

Definitely the location and access. Very clear and precise instructions regarding arrival.

No clothes hangers in wardrobe. Was able to obtain 2 free ones from outside of dress shop next door. Have left them in the wardrobe. No TV instructions so took a while to figure it out.

The lock for front door key was really temperamental to open. We thought at first we wouldn’t be able to open it. Single bed mattress nearest the door in twin room was saggy.

We loved the location. The appartment was spacious and well equipped. It was a great choice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Difficulty in accessing the unit when we arrived because the lock on the appt. door into the alleyway leading into High St did nor work properly from outside. Suggestion - make it clear in arrival instructions that entry from Auckland St is for both pedestrian or vehicle entry. After arriving off the train it took us nearly an hour including 2 phone calls to owner and help from 3 locals to get in.

Left alone with no one to worry us

The bed was comfortable but too mobile. When one turned over the other one was bounced around. The duvet was ridiculously heavy. Would have been nice to have tea and coffee provided plus shower soap

Check in was easy via lockbox and shower has good pressure

Spare room there are 2 skylights that aren’t covered so you will see daylight anytime it’s light outside. There is an alley that leads you to the high street that is closed from 8pm - 10am so you have to exit the property on the back street. No coffee or milk, only tea bags and sugar. No clothes hangers in wardrobes and no body wash or soap available. I messaged the property manager twice and no answer over the whole period of 2 nights.
