Nothing I hope no one has to stay there in the future

It was so dirty, mold everywhere some lights didn’t work the shower pipe burst during our stay some rooms don’t have a bathroom or toilet and most rooms we had didn’t have a lock and the doors had to be pushed shut from the outside! Terrible experience

The smell, lack of cleanliness

Clean room close to town centre

No staff at reception, entry via touch pad in poor order, had to call for help although staff patient and courteous. Hotel a warren of corridors.

There was nothing to like other than having somewhere to park! See below.

I arrived but nobody answered my attempts to get into Reception. I called the phone several times but got no answer. I had to find somewhere else to stay. Locals told me that the hotel is used for nefarious practices (that's their words, not mine) and should not be offered to 'normal' visitors to Newtown. In fact they were shocked that Booking.com still advertises it. I read reviews - unfortunately after booking and arriving there - and they are the worst I have ever read!

The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, radiator warmed the room, parking was convenient. nice restaurants nearby. A pleasant town to stay in.

Some technical problems in the room: shower too hot, loose toilet seat and above bed-head strip light came loose from wall. The receptionist fixed the TV aerial for me, so I was able to watch.

Good size rooms with TV, tea and coffee.
