"A comfortable bed in a convenient location"

The Night Porter. She was excellent and in spite of having jobs to complete, kept me company whist I enjoyed a late nightcap. The staff were helpful on checking in and arranged an external door key so that I could get in when I arrived back in the early hours.

The quality of the breakfast was not up to the standard I would have expected. Most of the full English was OK, but the sausage seemed to be of a budget standard.

"The Bear Hotel"

Excellent staff the receptionist was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious and a special thank you to Judy the lady who looked after us all by herself at breakfast.

The shower in room 14 needs a new washer under the shower head as it was sprouting a leak.

"Very comfortable and relaxing stay at the Bear Hotel"

This was our third stay at the Bear Hotel. It is a lovely traditional hotel that is central in the town. There is just a nice feel to the place, and I would like to send a special thank you to the lady serving breakfast who is always so pleasant and efficient.

It was all good.
