Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Our room had a nice outlook to the church. Will definitely stay again.

The bed was a bit squeaky but still comfortable.

Lovely food and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

We were in room 1, the twin room, at the front of the pub - kept awake by traffic. Was really loud and hence didn’t sleep well. Earplugs should be provided.

Our whole experience at the George was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we booked to the moment we left, all the staff couldn't do enough. The food was excellent as was the service Breakfast was really great.

Nothing. Nothing was too much trouble and I was arranging a 90th birthday party for my Dad with all the family at Donyatt Village hall and Helen helped a little with that, for which we were grateful.

Jack was an amazing host..so welcoming. The pub is gorgeous, we didn't eat as going to a wedding party but the food looks exceptional. The menu was fantastic,restaurant crowded and obviously very popular. Guinea fowl on the menu,locally sourced products. 10/10 Guinness if you are a Guinness drinker..highly recommend. Countryside around beautiful,disused railway line,,now a cycle lane/walk into rolling fields..Beautiful..Well worth staying if in the area..highly recommend and book a table to eat,you won't be disappointed. Breakfast excellent..
