We stayed for 2 nights. We had the super king room which was spacious, had lots of tea and coffee facilities, bottled water, biscuits, really lovely touches. The bed was massive and really comfortable. We ate in the pub on the first night and the food was fantastic, with great vegan options too which I really appreciated. Same at breakfast, all the usual cereal, juices and toast, plus a full English (with vegan sausages for me which was great). All the food we had was delicious and served to us by a group of the nicest people on the world. We were going to an wedding nearby and both one of the staff and the amazing Helen who runs the place said we should have let them know and they'd have taken us/offered to come and pick us up if we got stuck. That really is going above and beyond. Without a question if I ever find myself, or I ever know anyone who's going to be in that neck of the woods, this is the place to stay.

Beautiful pub/restaurant with lovely clean spacious rooms. We called ahead as we were arriving just after 9 and were able to order dinner. We had the steak, which was delicious. The landlords were absolutely lovely and very friendly and welcoming. Would 100 percent recommend and would stay there again. Oh yes, superb cooked breakfast. Thank you x

Nothing! The location itself is a little remote so little in the way of facilities or interest to walk to but that’s also a bonus for a relaxing stay.
