S'Agapò

Host was friendly but English was poor.We had to speak via loudspeaker on phone which was difficult.Breakfast was OK but limited.

We thought there would be parking as this was indicated to us but it is a nightmare.There may be parking nearby for1Euro per hour but we weren't informed where it was.You just have to hit lucky to land a space.The flat is 4 storeys up with no lift and the workmen are working in the stairwell.It will be nice when finished.Be aware that although you have your own bathroom it is across the internal hall which is shared.If you need up during the night this is not the place for you as you have to lock and unlock your bedroom and bathroom to get there.We also asked for 2 beds but ended up in one bed.Luckily I was with my brother so we managed.I perhaps misread the description as this wasn't what I was expecting.Location meh.

Maria and Franco were very accomadating and patient when talking to us (we don't speak italian). Maria gave such good advice. Overall we felt very welcome.

Stairs! Three floors up. We didn't mind but that was the only negative I can think of

Decision for our booking: We wanted a B&B. With this B&B S'Agapò we got more comfort that we expected from the description: spacious room, roomy wardrobe, comfortable balcony with view over Naples in 3rd (Italian counting) floor. We enjoyed the included Italian breakfast (time can be selected between 7.30 - 9.00 a.m.) with espresso - our favorite - from owner FRANCO (6 selections possible: espresso, cappuccino, cafe lungo, warm milk, ...), tea (2 selections), Italian biscottos, Italian brioches, madelaines, jam, Italian Nocita ("Nutella"), packed fruit juice 0,2l, sitting at a lovely decorated place. This B&B was very clean, to use the common bathroom and the fridge was never a problem, the bathroom is newly renovated, spacious shower. If we need any advice for trains, metro, entrance tickets, online booking in advance, supermarket, we wrote a whatsApp to daughter Maria F. and we got an answer as soon als possible. There are two stations TORRE DEL GRECO nearby the B&B: train and Metro. From the B&B we went by train/Metro to National Archeological Museo Naples, Villa Regina, Villa Poppea, Pompeji. We like walking. Therefore instead of taking the train we walked to ERCOLANO (Herculaneum Archeological Parc and Antiquarium) from B&B (35 min.), it was no problem, at the way back we stopped at the excellent GELATERIA GIURAFF. Instead of taking the train we walked from B&B to ERCOLANO scavi Bus Station (50 minutes), paid the combined ticket (25,00 €/person) for the 40 minutes bus trip + entrance fee for VESUVIO mountain National Parc, we liked to walk from the bus parking place up to the final top (45 - 60 minutes walk), we got un unforgettable view to the 300 m deep crater. If you check in - like us - when it is already dark in October after 19.00 p.m.

extremely clean and the bathroom is very modern and seemed to be recently renovated. The AC unit seemed like a recent purchase as well. Very comfortable!
