"Lot uit de loterij bij Pocklington"

Met zorg ingericht vakantiehuis. Bij aankomst was het huis lekker warm. De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Men denkt mee en reageert snel. Zeer veel informatie over de omgeving en het huis. Pocklington is een provinciestadje met verrassende winkels en restaurants. We hebben helaas geen tijd gehad voor uitgebreide wandelingen, maar de getoonde foto's nodigen uit om een lange wandeling te maken. Yorkshire is gewoonweg prachtig.

"Very pleasant and comfortable countryside cottage"

Beautiful well appointed cottage in the countryside Very well equipped and nicely furnished Gorgeous surroundings with paddock and view to hills Secure private car parking Good value Privacy

- We had no hot water on our last day. - The thermometer in hallway didn't appear on / activated, it wasn't responsive to touch, but there was still heat output and overall we were comfortable, so didn't raise this issue with owners during our short stay (I'm sure they would have been happy to help sort it). - Rural location can entail some driving on single track narrow country lanes and it's a considerable drive into York (20-30mins). Not really a suitable property for those without a car.

Great location. Property bigger than expected. Had everything you could need and more. Very clean. Best nights sleep. Lovely view from garden. Great welcome pack with local information etc. Exceeded expectations. Highly recommend.

Wonderful cosy place to stay, quiet and peaceful but close enough to York to drive in within 15 mins. Fully equipped property, absolutely everything you could need and more. Luxurious bath tub. Cosy living room. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms. Helpful hosts and plenty of useful information sent over beforehand. Thanks so much for a peaceful, relaxing break.

Our stay was absolutely lovely. We had the best sleep of our entire trip here 😂 the location was perfect, not too far from York but far enough away that you don’t have the city hustle and bustle. The hosts Gina and Mark were so lovely, everything was clean, comfy and you really had everything you need.

"A beautiful friendly place to stay"

How it was all wheelchair friendly. The welcome package was so thoughtful and needed! The place was so nice and clean. The views were amazing. The hosts couldn’t do enough for us and nothing was too much bother, very friendly! Couldn’t have made us any more welcome! We are 3 sisters wanting quality time away together and it was absolutely perfect!

The only thing we had trouble with was the step going into the bedroom at the back. There was a minor step sign but it was low to the ground to notice it maybe a sign by the light switch or eye level so it’s noticeable but other than that it was all perfect!
