Hot tub luxury feel

Ery small roads to get there but the barn made that all worth it

"It was ok"

5.0

The property was ok. Nice ambience and place. But they could improvise.

No bathroom essentials ( we found only toilet roll) Kitchen essentials can be included with basics. And the price is over hyped for this property.

"Disappointing."

4.0

Rural location, looks impressive on arrival.

Unclean - food left on cooking equipment, spider webs everywhere, glassware (windows and balustrade) seared, hair in the bath. It was a sunny weekend and no cushions for the outdoor furniture and no window blinds upstairs!! Equipment very tired, kettle peeling etc. Generally for the money per night I’d have expected a better finish.

The layout and facilities. The hosts were brilliant, they had thought of everything and their book contained everything you needed to know about your stay. Highly recommend!

"Disappointing - very dirty / not well kept"

3.0

Minimal

Firstly, I won’t go all negative as myself and my family who stayed here over New Year are not like that, and I don’t often leave a review but do rely on them so would be keen for others to be aware. We booked this, as New Year becomes much less as exciting the older we get, and were also celebrating my Fathers big bday (60) we were exciting to visit Wales for the first time…. We were from Scotland - 4hr drive. Points to highlight - pictures online / instagram / social media - are extremely boujee and from a while back certainly not now. Arriving to the postcode (horrendous to find) - no signage very difficult to find and a small time plaque as you come to a dirt track - easily replaced at a low cost. Area round the Barn / Cottage - not maintained, very tired looking nothing a couple hours of a Gardner wouldn’t sort with a lawnmower. Couldn’t access hot tub as weather was extremely bad but we were aware of the time of year but not wind or weather proof. As you get the key, enter the property the first thing you see - the glass balustrade to upstairs - I’ve attached photos and they speak wonders - my mothers a cleaner and we were speechless! The price you pay for a barn to enjoy this would be a main eye catching point - which you would absolutely 100% make sure was spotless, as well as the broken chandelier - people pay deposits and I can imagine for sure the lodger who damaged this will have been charged for the damage - some lovely pictures of it thick with cobwebs. We had a bottle of champagne what a waste as the disgusting plastic throw away flute glasses were appalling, these were the plastic flutes with the bottoms you connect, they have been cleaned round the edge so much the colour was off. I would not drink out of them We also had bottles of wine for the 4 of us but there was only 3 un matching wine glasses, and one was broken!! So 2 of us had to have wine from a half pint glass!
