Plas Coch Luxury Barn

Lodge is Gorgeous, does look bigger on pictures but has plenty of space and the bath upstairs is a beautiful touch of which I preferred over the hot tub

As a family of 4 i found it a little difficult in the kitchen sorting out meals etc but if you were to eat out then it would be fine, and although places to visit where a short drive away the outside space to the Lodge was only small but that's just personal preference, we had birthday balloons put up in the lodge for a cost which at £65 was very expensive but for the occassion i paid and had to leave them there as we couldnt fit them in the car but over all we had a Gorgeous stay and wales is a beautiful place.

Gorgeous layout, super comfortable, plenty of space, brilliant hot tub, check in instructions super clear and easy to follow.

A bit difficult to find, however the pictures were really helpful. Lack of tea towels, washing up liquid and some other kitchen utensils made it a bit difficult to cook/clean after cooking.

when we arrived we noticed that there was a wet used towel right next to the bed we moved it near the bathroom door and left it there as we didn’t want to touch it the next day to move into the bath, we also immediately noticed there was a smell of dog, i do understand that you allow dogs at the property but i didn’t expect to later find a lot of dog hairs in the beds it was quite off putting and gave us a negative experience, i wish i would have took a picture of the towel as it also left a wet patch on the carpet next to the bed but i did leave it outside the door and put our used towel in the bath.

We loved the design and how modern it was. We loved how games were already there so we didn’t have to bring our own. We loved how cozy the barn was! We loved the views and the country air!

There wasnt any sponges/cloths to clean up with so had to go out and purchase some. There wasn’t a sweeping brush nor was there the brush for the dust pan. The light switches were extremely confusing so maybe include in the info booklet what light switches are for what. Maybe some blinds for the upstairs windows, even though the view was stunning!

Everything was lovely, bed was the comfiest we have stayed in, natural light wake up is refreshing, feels cosy inside with the tv and curtains shut at night. Gorgeous bathroom, dog friendly and they kindly put number balloons up for us as a birthday surprise for my partner.

A tea towel or kitchen roll would have been useful

1. Very poor standards of cleanliness. 2. Lack of glassware / cups / crockery etc. 3. Poor responses from host. No response from emergency contact number when called. 4. Dirty outdoor furniture. 5. Hot tub not fully functional. 6. Directions to property poor. Not available on Google maps and no written directions to be found.
