Seclude Kerala, Marari Sands

Seclude Kerala, Marari Sands is a peaceful haven once you have arrived at the resort. Just a dozen bungalows, a stone's throw away from a beautiful, clean beach surrounded by lush green. The food was excellent (the best butter chicken I ever had), and the service was outstanding. Nadeem and John did everything to make our short stay perfect. Kerala's famous backwaters are nearby, and the boat trip through the canals was another highlight.

Many crows were in the trees above the sunbeds, which were sometimes noisy and annoying. The resort does not serve alcohol, but you can bring your own.

The Resort ist beautyful and very clean. The beach is just in front of the houses. It‘s a very private and quiet place. The stuff is so friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend Sudas Ayruvedic massage!

Extremely sub standard amenities. Feels like this resort is in deep losses and management has moved to cheating and defrauding customers by getting to show them something else in their resort posting. I was highly disappointed and I infact wrote the below to the property head: Hello Sir/ Mam I wanted to apprise you about the miserable state of affairs at your property located at Seclude Kerala, Marari Sands. I wanted to bring to your notice the agony we went through. I would suggest pay a surprise visit and see for yourself that if this resort is worth what you have charged me. I actually feel cheated and fell pray to this sham where I lost around 12,500 of my hear earned money for booking one night. My stay at this resort was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was looking forward to a relaxing vacation, but instead, I was met with a series of appalling inconveniences. First and foremost, there was no hot water in the bathroom. After a long day of travel with a 5 year old kid, all I wanted was a warm shower, but instead, I was forced to endure cold water. Your 3 l warm heater which was switched on by staff after I insisted them is not in a shape to give any hot water for even a minute. This issue persisted throughout my entire stay, making what should have been a simple daily routine a dreaded experience. To make matters worse, the toilet flush didn't work. Yes, you read that right—the toilet flush was broken. This is not just an inconvenience; it's a basic necessity that the resort failed to provide. I had to deal with the embarrassment and discomfort of a non-functional toilet, which is simply unacceptable. The resort's restaurant was another nightmare. Despite the below average food with hard paneer and half cooked chapattis and fried rice bill comes to 1400 rupees , the food is shockingly overpriced. Instead of being angry, I felt sorry for myself that I fell into this fraud.
