Seclude Kerala, Marari Sands

Location was good but outsiders entry was not restricted. So it felt like unsafe.

Poor service. Price and details about food is completely differ from their website. Food is very costly. Even they haven’t provide extra food plates.

The ambience is nice the beach is very scenic and has a good vibe. we are the only guest here and just here for a day.

Price is too much high and. rooms are not up to the standard food too much expensive

Staff was amazing! Especailly Nadeem and Sanju! They helped us get cabs, book backwater kaya, and shikara trips around the area. They were super accomodating for all the needs for our large 12 person party. We could ask them for off the menu food and they would purchase it from the local fish market so we could have all sorts of amazing dishes since we'd tried everything on the menu. They let us buy beer and keep it in the fridge since they don't have a liquor license. The staff is the heart of the operation and will ensure you have a fantastic stay. The facility itself was located right on the beach with nice hammocks and a pool. Besides the pool, beach, and pool there's not too much to do, so be ready to just relax and read a book or go on local excursions.

Wifi is pretty much unusable, so don't expect to get any work done.

Service was extremely slow. Toiletries weren't provided properly. For instance, shower gel and shampoo containers were empty and not even refilled after calling them. No one bothered to come and clean the room in the 3 days we were there. Complementary stuff like teabags, coffee sachets weren't topped off either because no one came to check. Food was quite expensive, tasted average, and had a limited menu. The breakfast, for instance, was different and lesser than what was written on their menu. Not even mentioning the slow service. They created issues with ordering outside food despite not having an explicit policy of not allowing outside food. The swimming pool was extremely dirty and despite telling them 3 times all they did was remove a few leaves. There were mosquito breeding throughout the pool and the water hadn't been changed for months it seemed. As the name suggests, the property was quite secluded and inaccessible. Honestly we felt a bit cheated for the price we paid and the service we got.

Friendly, helpful staff, excellent food but not all menu options available. Quiet effective aircon. Warm seas, palm trees.

Steeply shelving beach with rough waves, not safe for young kids/non swimmers. Lot of plastic/rubbish washed up. Not a fault of the hotel, all along the beach here. Not much going on in the immediate vicinity.
