Cosy City Centre Flat

Very good location

Nothing to like about this property. Myself and my wife found the presentation and cleanliness unacceptable and did not stay for the period we paid for. Instead headed to the nearest hotel to book a room as soon as possible. I tried to tell myself I’d stayed in worse places (on men’s holidays) however that still didn’t persuade me to stay here. This is a genuine complaint with images below to support. I do not make a habit of leaving reviews let alone complaints. To add insult to injury the owner/operator was unwilling to provide a refund leaving this platform to review the case. Which was also a waste of time.

On arrival the property had an immediate stench of sweaty feet. The 2 seater faux leather sofa was torn, not a great first impression. There was a frying pan and several items of crockery left on the draining board. There were towels still in the washer/dryer. Alarmingly the owner found this acceptable and is normal practice. The fridge hadn’t been cleaned, there was a used packet of spreadable butter and used tomato ketchup which also was acceptable to leave for our use along with a 200ml bottle of water, how generous! There was also some croissants for toasting and two mini boxes of cereal, again clearly the previous guests leftovers. The silicone in the show was mouldy which apparently “can not be helped” despite being maintained weekly by the maintenance man. There was no headboard on the bed which is fine but seeing stains on the wall at the head of the bed turned my stomach.

Sofa bed was not a sofa that could be used as a bed & there was no bed linen for it The TV didn’t work A lot of noise experienced from property above . Wi Fi signal kept dropping out .
