We obtained a shoreline certification less than one year ago and for jurisdictional purposes (i.e., permitting) could potential be used. Whether OCCL or County Planning takes the lead is incidental as we would be glad to apply to either agency or both if required for erosion responseGuests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Location of hotel is great, right by the beach. Pool is spacious and has its own kids section, which was appreciated as an adult not wanting to be right near children. Use this hotel as a place to stay and nothing more. We are from a big city and whatever your expectations are for a Hilton in major city…..this is not that. Hilton in name only. Customer service is definitely lacking. Not very accommodating, even when there are errors on the hotel’s part. Bar hours are 9A-9P. No sit down dining available on the property, all take out quick food like sandwiches and fries. Staff for take out is frequently very rude. There is no stove/oven for the lighten, be mindful of that.

The property was a perfect fit for our trip. The kitchenette allowed us to make breakfast and lunch in the room and there are plenty of dinner choices near by. The bathroom was large and spacious. Bed was comfortable and the views were amazing throughout the resort. Cindy at check in is a super star, she was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

"Nice Place"

8.0

I rated this place at four out of five because going into it I knew what I was going to get for my money. Based off of the photos and the reviews from other people, I wasn’t expecting this to be a five star hotel, which is not but that was fine for what we needed it for. We didn’t really stay on the resort all that much. We were out doing things and seeing Maui so we essentially just used it as a place to sleep. If you’ve stayed on other resorts in the past and you’re expecting restaurants and a coffee shop on site that’s not what you’re gonna get here. They have a little restaurant ask place next to the pool, which is fine for like a quick bite to eat, but that’s essentially all you’re gonna get. One thing that I did find really annoying was that it seemed like no one on the resort really had any idea when things were supposed to be happening. For example, signs in the elevators say that happy hours from 3 to 5 so one day we went down to the poolside bar at 4 but happy hour was actually from 2 to 4. Also we wanted to play mini golf which was supposed to end at sunset but in reality it ends at 6 which was well before sundown so that was a slightly annoying. I was also a little surprised that Hilton hasn’t done anything with this place since they bought it in 2021 it’s very outdated but like I said before I knew what we were getting into so I wasn’t expecting much. This isn’t the place for people to go if they want ti solely stay in the resort majority of the time though.
