"Amazing stay except for timeshare sales"

10.0

We stayed in the penthouse suite and had amazing views. We saw dolphins and turtles from our suite. Fantastic amenities on property like hot tub, resort style pool, activity center with table tennis , and just overall vibe is very nice. They offer breakfast and owners get 10% discount. They have luau ion Tuesday evening and it is $99 for 2. Parking is available but space is very tight. The downside is that they still have timeshare sales where they mislead people to buy the property. They even sold a unit to 88 year old. Really sad. So beware. They have food trucks right outside the main gate for dinner and food is good there. Hotel is right on the beach and you can swim. Be careful though as currents are high amd no life guard.

"Not the experience I was expecting"

4.0

My husband and I went on vacation in June 2025. We had visited the same resort back in 2023 and had an amazing time back in 2023 the resort was dated but very clean staff very attentive, kind courteous and basically you had everything you needed. For June 2025 trip same resort the room wasn’t as clean. I had to run the dishwasher before using the dishes. It is so exciting to have a have an ocean front view, but what is the point when all the furniture is covered in bird poop no pressure washing being done. The lawn furniture is very dated. I know this is not a part of the resort, but the surrounding food trucks in the area are very poor quality food, and the prices increased tremendously, especially after the fires and I get it but paying these prices and it just was not the experience that I remembered from 2023. We are owners, but until they do some upgrades, we will not be back.

"This place is disgusting and we will never return to this place; be aware of roach infestation!"

1.0

The location and that’s about it

Our unit was roach infested. We let the front desk know, they said they would have someone come later that day to fumigate but no one ever did. Instead, housekeeping called us later that day, apologized and gave us $50 gift certificate to try and compensate for the roaches we found. Although we were disgusted and disappointed, we didn’t want to act like a “karen” and be mean about it since we found the roaches in the bathroom and closet and i was able to kill it except for one…until the next morning (our last day). I went to make coffee and found not only the coffee maker dirty but we found a dead roach inside it. GROSS!!! Again, i reached out to the front desk before we checked out. This time i demanded to speak with a manager and for our stay to be compensated. Again we were promised that someone from management would reach out to us to resolve things. And until now we have not heard anything from anyone. Im so disgusted and grossed out but most importantly felt like our concerns were completely ignored.

"Large but outdated"

6.0

We stayed for a week at this property. It is a large resort with 3 towers. Unfortunately we were put in room facing a back parking lot, so we were disappointed to not have a better view. The balcony was also very small, so we weren’t able to use it. The best thing about this resort is the large pool area with comfortable lounge chairs. However, they were far too strict on their one towel per person policy. The pool was warm and not too crowded, and we appreciated that there was a bar and small grill restaurant to order drinks and food. The view of the ocean from bar is also nice. We would have liked the bar and nightly live music to stay open later. Our suite was large, with a comfortable seating area. The kitchen area is very small with no place to store food/drinks, and the appliances were quite dated. If you like to cook your meals in, be aware there is not a stovetop or oven. The bathroom is large but, oddly, had an extremely small shower. The biggest complaint I had was the bed was extremely hard, and I could feel the springs in it. The bell staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking can be a challenge. Even with a small sedan, we had difficulty fitting in some parking spots, and at times it was hard to find a spot.

"Awesome visit"

8.0

This hotel is a little outdated with colors… granite… furniture.. etc but other than that it is pretty amazing! Great location! Boardwalk is to the left of the hotel and follows down for about a 45 minute walk. Easy walk to Dukes, a great restaurant off the boardwalk. Awesome snorkeling as well If you start at Dukes and head with the current south down the shoreline. We saw plenty of fish and sea turtles!! The pool is awesome! There is a bar right by the pool! The only reason I gave it a 4 stars are because there are minimal food options, and the drinks are super pricey!! I read reviews that there wasn’t any beach access but there was to the right side of the hotel! You will be happy you went!
