Loch Awe Holiday Park

We had everything we needed - clean rooms with cosy beds, great kitchen with lots of utensils and cutlery, hot tub, heating, washing machine, shower and bath, and so on. Very quiet place and welcoming staff.

Saucepans are all in scratches. Considering they all with teflon covering, it’s bad for health. It would be great if hosts replace at least some of them with stainless steel. Not many things to do on the park’s territory. The river is near, but there is no decent walking trail along it. We planned all our holiday outside the holiday park during every day, thus it wasn’t a problem, when you only need to sleep over there and to have your breakfast and dinner. Some of caravans are very very close to the road. At the same time it is quiet there at night and it does not interfere with sleep.

Amazing Caravan. The facilities - activities was very very poor, very disappointed. One pool stick and building was very worn down. The park itself was great and we had a good stay. I just think the games room might be best knocked down and rebuilt lol.

Location, clealiness, response

During our visit there were insect infestations(may be seasonal) and we suffered a lot with its bites. So, something has to be set like, mess at the windows so that we can open windows and not allow these insects in or some idea to get rid of and stop insects in.

Location was great and the lodges were great for small families and groups. They were equipped with everything we needed and the staff were always helpful and responsive.

The mattresses were on the softer/worn side. They could do with replacing. Also there are always flies/midges about which are keen to bite. Not a property issue but something to be aware of and prepare for.

Location. Lovely staff. Very clean, everything looked brand new. The free bath products and dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc were welcomed (often missing at an air bnb). Kids liked the play area.

Noise from the road. We were closest to the road, and had to have the windows open as it was super hot weather. But very audible, even with earplugs.

Great location for easy access to Oban and the Islands, lovely little holiday park with gorgeous view. Well equipped comfy homes.

The only thing missing was an iron and ironing board in the home. These may have been available where the laundry facilities were, but as we didn't use them, I am not sure.

More pots and pans! Sofas weren't that comfortable.

The location is great and the caravan was superb

They don't include towels. Be sure to bring yours!
