The kitchen was closed due to a flood which we were not informed about by you. The staff there told us they made you aware. We therefore were unable to get any breakfast, which we paid for and you confirmed. On the evening we arrived we had to get a fish and chip takeaway and eat it in a local pub. We would like you to refund us the price of breakfast as we were unable to get it.
GBroom was comfortable but the shower tray outlet was blocked and the shower had to be switched off before the room flooded. we left before the staff arrived at 9.00am so could not report the problem. No breakfast or dinner available due to more plumbing issues in the kitchen.

Rooms not very clean no cups in room had to ask staff member not very helpful reluctant to help saw no other staff and the other we saw seem very disinterested when asked anything only knocked price off bill for breakfast as said the kitchen was closed and no were to go till after 9.30am we was only notified about the food situation at 4.30 Friday afternoon via booking.com messenger and we were due Monday to arrive so give use no time to alter booking to somewhere else

It turned out to be a nightmare. We checked in and no special instructions were given. We went out for the evening and on return found the main door locked with a number lock and no instructions either by e mail or at check in. There was nonnumber to contact and we had to stay at travelodge. When we returned the next day, we just got an insensitive sorry from the person at reception. We just received a mail few days in advance to say kitchen was not working and no breakfast and we had to work hard for the refund. Overall poor experience and would not recommend it.
GBThe room we stayed in was a nice size and the beds were comfortable.
Unfortunately there were a few things we didn't like. First, when we arrived we were told the kitchen had flooded and that the chef had left. I know these things happen, but instead of offering something that wasn' t cooked, we were merely told there were other places we could go for breakfast/evening meal. We were told there would be toiletries in the room, but this just consisted of some handwash. The room was nice but there were layers of dust on the mirrors. When we ran the bath, the water came out a curious yellow colour.

There was no breakfast, which we paid for. Warned that bath could tip over if sat on.
