GBWe were atttending a funeral and were allowed to check in early, which was much appreciated after travelling for 5 hours. The staff were very friendly, as were the locals. The breakfast was great, we chose a full English and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on toast, very good coffee too.

GBLee is an outstanding host, excellent chef and charming bartender. Also great with special requests for little ones, our daughter is 3 and found plenty of things to do and play with.Location is great, love the little town vibes. Great beer ✨
Mattress was bit on the hard side but room was lovely.
GBThe family room we stayed in was by far the best we have experienced in the UK. It was clean comfortable and stylish with 3 proper beds and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and the service & friendliness was brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would happily stay again & definitely recommend.
We tried to contact the venue in advance because we had an issue with the checking in times as we were attending a family wedding but didn't manage to speak to anyone & didn't get a return call.
GBWe were offered a lovely Sunday roast dinner even though we arrived after 5.00 pm. Offered a lovely full English breakfast included in the price next morning. Staff really helpful and friendly. Good parking facilities.
