My room

Liked the host Sophia and breakfast supplies, as well as use of the kitchen to make tea/lunch, etc.

We booked the room for its proximity to the airport and easy parking, it turned out really well. The host family were all helpful and told us where to order a meal so we didn't need to go out, as we had to get up very early. Everything we required was available in the room.

Bed and room were comfortable. Good bus routes to Edinburgh City centre.

Inability to find tea and coffee and coffee on arrival, Was not mentioned on information sheet on fridge but price list of snacks and wines was prominent. Microwave located on bottom shelf of cupboard and difficult to use without kneeling on the floor. Absence of washing up bowl,meaning China crockery had to be washed in a china sink.

The room was very comfortable, good transport links for getting into the city centre .

There were no issues with the room or location.

Host was very friendly and helpful, room was very spacious and clean, only a bus ride into the center of Edinburgh, and all the attractions the city has to offer Large bathroom with all toiletries provided, good shower Value for money especially seeing as it was fringe season and the Tattoo was on in town.... Great price compared to the extortionate prices the hotels in the center were charging

Several small points * TV but no ability to watch terrestrial channels * A bit of a “camping” situation regarding breakfast * Lack of curtains, only blinds made it difficult to avoid a very early wake up. * unable to lock bedroom
