Room was good, it is above a pub though so expected a bit of noise

Do not provide breakfast!!

The noise from drinking crowds outside went on until 1:30 in the morning. Then at 5:30 in the morning woke up to the noise of bottles being picked up by waste collection vehicle.

Location, super comfy bed.

Some noise until pub closed, probably not a problem on other nights but busy on a Saturday.

I’m appreciate that the owner does make an effort to keep it clean and practical. The actual room and space would have been fine in an other location.

I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay either here or in the centre of Ashbourne on a Saturday night unless you are planning on getting as drunk and noisy as the locals. When the karaoke stops at 11ish the pub opposite seems to turn into a nightclub until about 1am. Bring your ear muffs ! The room was too warm and stuffy but opening a window just made it even noisier
