Central location with parking outside on the street. Friendly chap who checked us in in the pub below the room. Clean and snug.

Bit noisy outside the pub quite late on, and early morning.

Room was a good size with good quality amenities, shower,kettle,tv & the bed was comfortable as well. The decor was modern, bright & easy on the eye, the owner had pre warned me at the point of confirming the reservation that it might be a bit noisy as they had a DJ/Karaoke on the Saturday night. The noise level was not a problem at all. They didn't do meals but they recommended a pub across the way from this one called 'The Horns', which might have been managed by the same people. The choice of food was good, nicely cooked & decent portions for the price. The staff were helpful ,pleasant & attentive at both premises, great service.

Pounding music from the pub below meant I couldn’t use the room to sleep until late.

Noise of drinkers in pub and outside till 1am. Had hoped for early night ready for good day's walking next day - but didn't happen! Also, when booking, I managed to miss this was room only. Found good places in town for early breakfast though.
