"Small room with kitchen unit"

The tiny room with kitchen unit was quiet with a comfy bed and soft bedding which meant a good night’s sleep. The decor is nice and modern with clean lines.

The property is way smaller than it looks in the page photos. Very cramped with faulty bathroom fittings and a sink tap that overflows and needs to be replaced. The room was freezing on arrival and the underfloor heating takes quite a while to kick in. Although the property is auto managed , there is a WhatsApp number and someone did call me back about the heating. However, a blanket could not be provided when I requested one. So definitely no personal touch/customer service. The kitchen seems to have plenty of cooking utensils - we didn’t cook. But the sink is so small, it was difficult to fill the kettle. There was no kitchen towel provided to mop up any spills. The area was far from the spots we wanted to visit but we should have been more rigorous in our search before booking. Overall the room felt a bit sour-less and not as described.

Why did the property charge extra money 25£ ?? Is it clever way to extort money from your customers?? The front view should be cleaned just at the door entrance

The property management company did help with the key code and tried to address some of the property issues. That was the only positive.

The key code entry didn’t work so I had to call the property management. I was then told to use a lockbox and key entry. The hallway was cluttered with items - a health and safety hazard. On entry the lighting system wasn’t working and the tablet on which I was then told to turn the lights on with was not bright enough to read the screen. The property states it is pet friendly; however the garden was not at all well kept with rubbish and weeds everywhere and the fencing is not secure and I had to retrieve one of my dogs from the main road. Lucky he didn’t get hit by a car. There was several weeks of rubbish in the parking area that smelled awful and had been attacked by foxes. I was informed that bin collections had changed but that is no excuse. When I went to shower, the plug was blocked and flooded the bathroom and the bathroom tap was not fit for human use. The person staying next door did not respect the 10pm to 7am quiet rules on either night and so I was woken at 00:05am and 1.30am respectively. The property have refused a refund despite it not being pet friendly and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Smashing little place

Getting code and getting in was a pain, some company wanted a load of details off me but I spoke to a guy on the phone and he was great and got me code so I could enter property.

Nice and convenient for me, staff were helpful

It really needed a clean, bathroom taps and kitchen/floors needed a wipe down or a mop
