Just perfect for us. Clean, quiet, lovely host and there if needed with a text. Hot tub was just amazing at night.

Absolutely lovely hosts and accommodation. Hard to believe you get all you do for cost of property. Tried to book agin this week but fully booked. Definitely be back again hopefully for pleasure rather than work. Thank you Lee.

The location was easy to find - about 15 mins from Exeter. Good parking outside. Hosts were welcoming and easy to contact. Lovely accommodation which was cosy and warm at night. Great beds so had a good sleep. Ample kitchen cupboards, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave - all clean and in good condition. Double bedroom had a lovely ensuite and the twin room had easy access to the bathroom. Ample wardrobe and cupboard space with quality wooden hangers and more than enough of them for our needs. There was a tv downstairs with Netflix, Freeview etc. easy to use. Wifi connection was excellent. They also had a hot tub outside but we didn't use it. There is so much to do and the accommodation is ideally situated.

There was no washing machine - would be worth considering especially for families. Trapping about fields and forests - getting wet due to the weather etc - wanting to clean your muddy clothes instead of packing them up - getting things clean would be so useful. There is a little utility room that could house a small washing machine and clothes horse.

Nicely finished conversion

Location of & directions to property could be better signed & lit in dark. Went past twice before finding. Floors upstairs were very squeaky & loud.

Our daughter lives in Exeter (city) and the route to and from the accommodation to the city centre was direct and easy to navigate. The conversion of this barn was imaginative, particularly the long spacious living kitchen. The bedrooms and both bathrooms were also well proportioned. There was also plenty of car parking in front of the barn.

The first floor landing floor is overlaid with hardwood tongue and groove flooring, which presents well, BUT is excessively noisy underfoot which makes moving around without waking the person sleeping in bedroom 2 near impossible. This is a problem across the landing but is especially bad by the head of the stairs. The floor doesn't just squeak it makes loud sudden cracks as you walk across it, even in stocking feet. On the second night we were effectively marooned in Bedroom 1 the next morning to allow bedroom 2 to have a lie-in. My ratings would have been more generous except for this issue which building users simply cannot work around. I would urge the hosts to check whether the floor covering has been laid correctly, and/ or relay/ replace it. Lesser points include all 4 lights in Bedroom 1 don't work, but we worked around leaving the ensuite door ajar and the light on, whilst bedroom 1 door and ensuite door bind (stick) in their frames.

No information on using the hob
