Beautifully decorated room and facilities - really exceeded expectations. Every detail was well considered including the bed linen, towels, lotion, soap, tea and coffee making facilities. Within easy walking distance of the city center and beautiful cathedral as well. 100% recommended.

We received a really nice warm welcome from Jan. Check in was straight forward and easy. Jan explained where everything was and how everything worked. The property has been renovated to a really high standard with quality materials. Food is excellent, and all the staff were polite and friendly. making everyone relaxed. Very enjoyable stay. We will return.

The location is so central, and the hotel (and pub underneath) is so beautiful. The staff are so, so friendly, and we felt so welcome there. We'll make sure to stay here every single time we come back to Wells.

Staff were excellent, it was a lovely room in a great pub with fantastic beers. In particular the landlord was a gentleman, very knowledgeable and friendly. 10/10

Spent a couple of very relaxing nights here, great Pub with lovely, well equipped rooms and cracking continental breakfast, didn't eat but food looked lovely, hence the busy restaurant, great selection of craft beers, ciders and spirits, all very reasonably priced. Fantastic staff who couldn't be more friendly or helpful, highly recommended & won't hesitate to return.
