Pub was lovely, rooms were decorated tastefully and were very comfortable. Great powerful shower , it was a very good location, close to the centre of Wells.

Our room was overlooking the road and was very noisy with people coming out of the local pubs. It wouldn’t put us off stopping there again

Great hotel, lovely food and staff were very friendly and welcoming

Location in Wells was good. 12 minute walk from the cathedral and the market. Very near a car park where we could charge our car overnight. The staff welcomed us well even though we were walking into a pub with suitcases - which can be awkward - and Jan (Yan?) was very friendly, helpful and professional when showing us to our room. He also gave great advice on Austrian wine when we were ordering our meal soon after our arrival.

The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean with an excellent shower The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well

The room was quite hot (August) and it was difficult to let air in (lovely old sash window, which was quite heavy)

The room was beautifully appointed and the bed very comfortable. The walk in shower was appreciated.

Disappointed to find they only do breakfast at the weekend. Also we could not close our bedroom window and the traffic was noisy.
