Lovely room, excellent location, staff are so friendly and helpful and the bar is great with the best food we've had in Wells

Breakfast wasn’t included but Jan left something out for us anyway which was very kind. Similarly we were able to order drinks even though the pub normally closed at 8pm on a Sunday because he was working late.

Lights in ensuite are on a sensor so sitting on loo you find yourself in darkness. Light dimming when you take a shower-it’s only fully lit when standing by the sink. Bit annoying! Bedside lights were very dusty and had food on the glass. Mentioned it to the housekeeper but at that price it should be super clean!

Lovely boutique rooms with helpful staff. Fresh coffee in the room. Fab location, very close to the city. Whilst there is no on site parking, there was very reasonably priced paid parking very close by

Very friendly and helpful staff, the pub and hotel were very nicely finished as was the bedroom. Location was perfect, big Tesco right across the road, town was a two minute walk away and there is an esso garage round the corner open past 4pm on a Sunday should you need anything. There are plenty of car parks close by and many free parking bays too.

Staff and welcome - superb, friendly and efficient at all times - absolutely faultless. Room and premises - welcoming, clean and very comfortable. Food, breakfast and dinner - the Continental Breakfast was excellent and very nicely presented. We also had dinner in the bar/restaurant and that was good, well-presented and delicious. Parking - there is no parking but we simply used a nearby Morrisons and paid a modest price for parking there using the JustPark app. All in all, superb, we will be back.
