Daegu AW Hotel

The room was clean and spacious. Great bathroom, too. Good transport links with taxis. buses and the subway within a few hundred metres.

The bed was a bit hard for my liking but to each their own, I suppose!

The room was spacious and our stay was very comfortable overall. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel is a bit kitsch, but it didn't really matter.

Situated close to services and the metro station in the center of Daegu. The rooms were very spacious and clean considering the exceptionally low price.

The hotel restaurant was very expensive. The hotel was almost empty. However, I think these small disadvantages are heavily outweighed by the advantages.

Good sized room in a pretty good neighborhood.

Air conditioning did not work and guys who came to ‘fix’ it just lied and said it was working fine. We complained to the front desk and were moved to a room where the air conditioner worked perfectly. Not sure why they didn’t move us right away…especially as there did not seem to be many people staying there at the time.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, everything clean. Restaurants nearby and a good metro connection to the city center.

My guess is that the hotel makes its real business with organizing wedding, not with average travellers. It was a bit spooky to meet so few other guests in such a big hotel.

The breakfast timeframe was too short, only 7-9am. If you are entering 8:45am, staff will let you know that you need to hurry to finish at 9am, we ended up giving up on all the the free breakfast and took our leisure time eating outside the hotel instead. We felt the breakfast timeframe needed to be longer.

Room Aircon temperature was set to 25°C by default. Looby changed it for 1 day until it came back to the same temperature. That's probably nice when you want to party, but nor when you're expecting to sleep.
