The staff is very helpful. Very modern and clean accommodation next to the beach.

I had to cancel a tour due to a sudden health issue. When I refused to pay 1700 pesos for a service I didn't use, a staff member blocked the door and physically held me inside to force payment. This is a major red flag for solo travelers, especially women. Physical restraint is illegal and dangerous. I feel like this is the most important thing to know about this hostel. The dorms were clean and the location was fine (even though the beachfront bar is a business apart, it does not belong to the hostel). But anything becomes irrelevant when staff uses physical intimidation.

Questa notte e da dimenticare. La camera era piena di formiche, abbiamo dovuto chiedere l’insetticida per rimuoverle. Rientrati in casa dopo cena aprendo la porta si è rotto l’oblò di vetro che c’era sulla porta, quasi ci finisce sul piede. Potevamo farci realmente male. Ci hanno cambiato la camera dandocene una diversa dalla nostra prenotazione e chiedendoci il pagamento di 5.000 PHP. Durante la notte è entrato un geco perché ovviamente anche l’altra porta aveva una fessure di 5 cm dal pavimento, facendo un bel concerto che ci ha svegliati. La camera in sé non sarebbe male, ma devono cambiare le porte in modo che non cadano vetri e non entrino insetti, è inaccettabile.
