Gatlinburg Area Hottub Cabin - Ladyslipper

Up in the mountains away from it all....peaceful and beautiful, nature at its best

The roadways to and from our cabin scary and dangerous at best , very narrow roads and hilly and curvy can easily get lost, we did all activities and returned to our cabin before dark. At night you may not be able to find where your staying

I loved the seclusion.

The place could use a full DEEP spring cleaning. There was trash under the bed from a previous guest, the dishes were dirty or had soap spots, and after a few minutes of running the jets in the soaker tub a clump of hair shot out into my bath *shudder* and the shower light doesn't stay on for more than 5 minutes

This place was perfect for a couple who just want to get away for a weekend. It was pretty well secluded even during late fall. It would be even more so during spring/summer. We had a great time.

the cabin was dirty - floors had debris and dust and dust bunnies - the sheets did not feel fresh or clean. The cabin itself was extremely damp - so much so that the towels felt damp the entire time we were there - (the towels that were not used were already damp) the cabin itself was misrepresented in advertising - it stated there was a garden - no such garden found. We were not aware that the cabin had to have a dehumidifier to help combat the damp, musty conditions. The dehumidifier was used by us, and had to be emptied several times a day. That is HOW DAMP this place was. The light over the tub did not work. The cabin overall was dark and dim. Advertising stated there was a close/wardrobe in the bedroom - it was NOT in the bedroom, it was in the bathroom where the toilet was. This closet was dark and we could not see to hang up our clothes. A light needs to be added to that "closet" The electrical outlets were all loose and our items that were plugged into to those outlets, kept becoming unplugged because the outlet would not hold the plugs. And worst of all, the road leading to the cabin was okay, but once we got to Wildflower and turned to approach the cabin, the road was just dirt and HUGE potholes - teeth rattling, truck rattling, potholes. NOT a good approach and we had a big truck with 4 wheel drive! Overall, we were very disappointed and did NOT enjoy this cabin. We, in fact, left on Friday of our booking, even though were were originally going to stay til Sunday morning.

We had such a wonderful stay and Kendra was an amazing host. Answered us when we needed her and made sure we had everything we needed. Such a perfect cabin for a couple get away. There is a very steep gravel road to get to the cabin so be aware if you have a low car like we do, but we no no issues. 🙂

The Cabin, The Location, The Scenery and whole experience was top notch as well as the staff and step by step easy instruction, super fast response for any question. Highly Recommend.

Secluded location, peace and quiet.

The only recommendation we have is to switch the refrigerator door to swing open the other way so it’s easier to get items in and out.
