Gatlinburg Area Hottub Cabin - Ladyslipper

The fitted sheet was torn and I fell in the tub, needs mat

The cabin was very cozy and we had a great time. Everything was clean when we arrived. The drive to the property was really pretty and we really liked looking at the other cabins on our way. We had everything we needed to cook our meals such as pots and pans minus the spices. The host was very friendly and easy to get in contact with.

Everything was great. The only thing I didn’t like would be the short part of the road with the gravel. It was definitely hard on my wheels just because there’s small pot holes with the already tight space.

Very cozy and private. Clean and beautiful. Had everything you may need for a short stay.

The drive into the mountains but it was worth it!

The cabin was very well decorated. Everything was very convenient as well as we found everything we needed with ease.

I really feel like the cabin needs a new roof. New shingles would be fine but a new metal roof would probably be better.

Location

we both were ate up with bug bites. Ad said shampoo, conditioner and body wash was supplied. All bottles were empty. Hot tub was dirty. Had to call to have it cleaned. The overhead fan kept dropping dust on us. Was looking for a lost cap and under the bed was very dusty. The stay was very disappointing and not what we expected for our charged fee. We left a day early due to bug bites every night. Not something we feel comfortable suggesting to friends.

We loved the beautiful private location. The cabin is decorated very cute and the bed was comfortable. Fully stocked with everything you need. Loved having a hot tub on the deck with cute whimsical lights around it at night. Location was relatively close to everything we wanted to do!

It was very dark inside, even with all the lights on. Especially in the shower. Hot tub isn’t in the best shape and only some jets were working. We were unclear on if we were allowed to use the fireplace, so we did not. Loved bringing our 2-10lbs dogs but did not realize it would be an additional $100 plus tax.

Host refunded a petty $50 per day for our inconvenience. If we had chosen to stay somewhere without a hot tub, the savings would have been double that and would probably have at least offered toilet paper!

Hot tub was not maintained but featured in the title of the listing. Moments after booking, host confirmed housekeeping was there the day before our stay. So the hot tub doesn’t get checked as part of routine housekeeping. Gross. No toilet paper for entire first day/night of stay, arrived late in the evening forced to use paper towels. Host defended that housekeeping “takes pride in their work” but doesn’t check the toilet paper supply. Mold/mildew on pillows.
