Good location was well equipped

It was very small and there was a damp musty smell

It was close to the town. The kitchen and living space were well equipped and comfortable.

The bedroom was very small. The toilet access was difficult for a tall person as it was under the stairs. No information pack as to how equipment worked.

The location was good. Communication with the owner was good.

It was not clean at all. Mould in the shower, old used shampoo bottles on the floor. Old used kitchen wash cloth/scrubber. The air freshener was overpowering despite removing it once we located it. The carpet bordering the kitchen sink area is perishing and ratty. The cleaner turned up 1/2 through our stay and let herself in while we were there, apparently not aware of our booking details.

I've stayed here before; it's handy, good location and near to the railway station. It is clean and cosy. It has all the essentials.

Plug-in air "fresheners" make me nauseous and headachy, so I have to pull that out, open the door and the windows until the smell has faded. I was taken aback to discover there were no tea-bags (apart from some chamomile I'm going to guess a previous guest left), despite the self-catering set-up, with fridge, microwave and kettle. I mean, even the cheaper versions of the hotel chains with no tea-making facilities in rooms have 24/7 access to cups of tea. I took a heat-up supper and fresh milk but no tea as it did not occur to me there'd be none there. A detail, but an important one - not expensive or difficult to have a small container with 1/2 dozen tea bags, surely?

Appartamento davvero carino, arredato con gusto e ben attrezzato, ci si sente subito a casa! La comunicazione con i proprietari è stata facile ed efficace, la via in cui si trova la casa è tranquilla, e abbiamo trovato parcheggio a poca distanza.

La stanza da letto è piccola e la porta della stanza da letto se tenuta aperta è d’ingombro. La ventilazione in bagno potrebbe essere migliorata essendo un bagno senza finestre.

Good location for the old town of Dunblane. As a solo traveller it was perfect for me and I even stayed an extra night. All you need: neat, clean and nicely presented. A reasonable price too.

There is parking close to this apartment in the form of a widened bay, but I found that there were not always spaces available. Some street parking can be found nearby.
