"The size was fantastic, location was amazing and facilities were great. We loved it, would come back again!"

The room was spacious and spotless, with great décor. Bed was very comfortable. Coffee & tea facilities available. The breakfast was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The hosts were friendly & attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable & enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Beautiful room in converted barn . Everything new and modern . Lovely breakfast and nice walk down to local pub through country side for food in evening.

Very comfortable accommodation. Lovely friendly host. Accommodation in a beautiful location. Superb breakfast.

Quite difficult to find. The Old Smithy is in Duncton not Duneton as stated on booking.com. Some guests may struggle with the five steep steps to the bathroom in the night and the sloping ceilings. This wasn't a problem for us though.

"Superb secluded stillness."

Ann and Martin adapted food to accommodate my coeliac needs and FODMAP diet. Ann provided me with Paracetamol when I caught a nerve in my neck. Ann and Martin are kind, friendly and obliging, making me feel welcome from the start and at home throughout. Wonderful!

Stairs' Sisal carpet has a nicotine-type smell early evening only.
