The property is lovely, well maintained and the apartment is 5 star. There are about 20 steps to get up to the main floor. You are greeted by Toni and Pat’s very cute dog. Toni was very friendly and accommodating. She had milk, bread and butter and treats too. We loved it here and would have liked to stay longer.

Lovely & clean

We really enjoyed our stay at Alma’s retreat. The owner was super friendly and welcoming! The kitchen had fresh milk, breakfast options and a lot of kitchen utensils. The bedrooms and showers were amazing and everything was really clean. We highly recommend you stay here and the next time we are able to come here we will definitely try to stay for a longer period.

The gorgeous little terrier dog who loved to play fetch

Stairs that we weren’t aware of, the ensuite shower head that wouldn’t stay up and sprayed water towards the door. No soap holders shampoo had to be placed on the floor. Bedside light not working . No milk in fridge for a cup of tea had to drive a number of kms to purchase. Had we known could have picked it up in Drogheda. We had heavy luggage that was difficult for a 81, 75, 72, 70 year old to drag up the steep stairs. No name on the front of the property to identify we were at the correct property.
