Alma’s retreat

When we requested a few extra little things that were missing (dish cloths, tea spoons and scissors) these were provided very quickly. When booking had gone through somehow it missed that we were bringing dogs!! A quick conversation with the hosts and this was quickly and positively sorted.

Couldn't be helped but the stairs were an issue. We were an 82 year old, 67 year old and 56 year old. So carting everything up on arrival and down on departure was difficult. But this was a sort notice booking and we took what was available. Next time we would book the downstairs option.

The host, Toni is very friendly and helpful! The facility is clean and cozy. They have a cute dog as well. 😊

.Lovely location in the country but close enough to town with restaurants/pubs. Met owners, who were very friendly.

Breakfast a bit sparse - some bread/butter/jam would have been nice.

We met the owners and they were very nice and their dog was adorable! The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed. It appeared to be a newly renovated apartment and it was very nice.

Location is very remote, not convenient for over night stop.

We had such a fabulous night at Alma's retreat. My husband, myself and our 2 children stayed. Toni arrived to meet us, with 2 Easter eggs for the children. She also took us to meet her beautiful horses. And the kids played fetch with Davey the dog. The apartment was spotlessly clean. And so spacious. My children couldn't believe they had their own bathroom. We all loved our stay from start to finish. And will most definitely be going back. Thanks for everything Toni. It was our pleasure to meet you x
