Rating: 8.5/10 Overall, our stay at Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh – Managed by Hilton was exceptional and left a very warm impression. I would especially like to highlight the chef’s work at the on-site Genji Restaurant. My friend and I had not enjoyed sushi and mocktails this good in a long time. Everything was beautifully presented and perfectly balanced in flavor. A special mention also goes to the bò lúc lắc — the beef was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth. The breakfast buffet was also thoughtfully arranged, offering a pleasant fusion of Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine with a wide variety of options. The reception staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay and assisted even with small requests — helping us locate a nearby pharmacy, giving directions around the area, and even changing our slippers and yukata colors when we asked. Our twin room exceeded expectations. The space was comfortable and thoughtfully designed, featuring a small personal sauna, a private onsen bath, and a charming little zen-style garden that created a calm and meditative atmosphere. The room was perfectly prepared for our arrival, and we were welcomed with a complimentary set of mochi and fresh fruit, which was a lovely touch. As a friendly suggestion: understanding that the hotel has recently transitioned from Sun Group management to Hilton, I imagine some systems are still being adjusted. A clearer room-service system and more detailed descriptions of available services in the hotel’s internal app would make it easier for guests to navigate the offerings.

There was, however, a moment of miscommunication at the spa on Sunday, March 8, 2026. My friend and I had booked a spa treatment for 4:00 PM the day before and asked whether it would be possible to add a 30-minute hair wash after the treatment. When we arrived on time, we were asked to wait about 20 minutes while the baths were being prepared. This was slightly confusing as we had not been informed in advance that the treatment would begin later than scheduled. At the same time, we were told that therapists were fully occupied and that it would not be possible to add the hair wash service. Since the appointment had been arranged the day before and we arrived exactly on time, it would have been helpful to receive this information earlier or to be informed about the expected waiting time upon arrival. Offering the additional service as a paid option, if feasible, could also have clarified the situation. The spa therapists themselves were wonderful — warm, attentive and very professional. They apologized for the inconvenience and eventually offered a complimentary hair wash, which we appreciated. The treatment itself was relaxing and very well performed. The only slightly uncomfortable aspect seemed to come from repeated communication issues with the spa receptionist on duty at that time. Some explanations, including the reason given for not preparing the baths earlier, felt a little unclear, and a similar moment of confusion happened during payment when we were first asked whether we would pay by cash or card, but later informed that cash could not be accepted when we requested to split the bill. Despite this, the overall spa experience was still enjoyable thanks to the professionalism and kindness of the therapists.
